Got a few bits forsale,dont want the earth for them just need them out the way as taking up space.

mk2 clubby bonnet £10 (not bad condition,bit rusty but will do a turn)
mk3 boot lid £5 (few scabs,not bad condition)
4x alley cat wheels with genuine centre cap,5 x 12 with tyres (tyres arent the best) £35
1x 10inch wheel with tyre £5
Petrol tank with sendor (lost the key) £5

It all makes sense now!!

It "wouldnt" of
run right mate if you had weakend it with that AAC needle in there as
the AAC is already far too lean. The needle you need in the
1 1/2 carb is AAA as stated above ,its richer all the way through the
rev range.

Regards the
timing,you really need to see what MAX advance your getting,try to
forget what slow running timming figure your getting and see what
your getting at about 4500-5000....your amining for about 34 as you
dont know what advance curve is set into the dizzy , as too much
advance will slowly kill the engine.

The D3's
shouldnt be a million miles away to be honnest,as long as the carbs
are in good condtion ...Standard 998 coopers had GY's in , the D3's
im sure are just slighty richer???

I'd love to get it back on the Road. Yes, the engine goes to SC
next Wednesday 17th. Got to get on now and get the front
panels back on ready for the engine return. Just got to put the
last coat on the front subby and get the engine bay sprayed.
Been a bit behind as I've had to sort out my other half's
Fiesta. It failed the MOT last week on corroded brake pipe and
broken front coil spring. Replaced both and just working on a
dent in the front wing. Then it's replacing the rear droplinks on
her Cougar. Should get all the above done this weekend.
